"Basic clean room with small en-suite bathroom. Large communal lounge/rec-room/kitchen area with refrigerator, kettle, a couple of hotplates and a microwave. TV. Awesome views of the glacier. An easy 30 minute drive to Vik. There are a couple of cafes nearby but we didn’t investigate those, just saw the signs. The reason I said the staff is terrible is that there aren’t any. You have to call ahead for the room number and lockbox code. Nobody answered so if there had not been a cleaner onsite who helped us to get in touch with the property manager we would not have been able to get into our rooms!!!"

"The people who are involved are good. Thats not the issue. I slept here with my daughter one night. Its winter (end of march) The small heater didnt do anything. For the area there needs to be two heaters for each person. The wind was so crazy that night i didnt sleep. I thought we were going to blow away. Honestly i was that scared and cold all night."

"This property was a beautiful working horse ranch/farm. The staff was 5 star! Costas & Ms Alex took care of check in, front desk, waiters at dinner, bartenders who made delicious cocktails. They went out of their way to make my stay incredible. Ms Editaw in the morning was super pleasant with breakfast, good info about the area and property. I met her husband who is one of the fine chefs. They are putting out a quality menu at night and an excellent breakfast in the morning. The property is beautiful as were the rooms. Indoor Sauna & Hot Tub made for a great way the end each day. I would absolutely stay here again! Thanks for a great stay! ROD"

"This place is incredible. So cozy, the view is from another world, quiet, nice, all of the good adjectives!!!! It’s next to the waterfall so you can even stop by there many times. Bring groceries before since there are no supermarkets close. But they have the basics so you won’t be hungry. I would come back for sure!!"

"This is not actually a hotel. This is a SCAM. We booked eight months in advance of our trip and of course were immediately charged. Then, a day before our trip, it occurred to us that we hadn’t been sent check in instructions. I looked in my inbox and had received only one communication from the owners with an out of service phone number and fake email address. We tried many different ways to get the contact info to check in but after reading additional reviews it became clear we would need to scramble to find alternate lodging which was very expensive. We called Expedia prior to the “check in” and they said they couldn’t get in touch with the owners either so they would give us a refund. Then I notice the next day that refund has not been issued. I call Expedia back and they tell me that the hotel says we missed our check in. I ask if they have literally any proof of that, since I have so much proof of TRYING to check in and not being able to. Expedia continues to reject my refund despite many people having the same experience as me and I have to dispute the charge with my credit card. DO NOT BOOK."

"nice to have a complete unit to ourselves clean. shower head was cracked and leaked water out the sides but other than that shower was nice and big. convenient to have a table with 4 chairs. no plug in at counter height so needed to charge phones on floor and plug in kettle on floor. but overall a great little place."
