"This hotel is a former school, and it's an architectural treat to see and stay in. Plenty of free parking on the hotel grounds, even in the center of Stirling. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very convenient to everything in Stirling, which is a tourist destination without a tourist feel (no tweed/tartan shops, etc.--just a regular Scottish town with a modest castle on the top of the hill). "Our flight was delayed by more than 2hrs, what was supposed to be a late night check-in, ended up being an early morning check-in. Front desk staff assured us of non-cancellation. Upon arrival, we were greeted promptly and got checked-in without any delay. Welcome gift in the room was a happy surprise and really made our day. Room was dated, yet clean, comfy and quiet. Quite happy with our stay! "
