"One night stay. Our primary reason for staying there was the low rate AND there is no pet fee (most of the other guests we saw also had dogs with them). The receptionist was very nice. The room was super basic, and the entire property could use upgrading, but we knew what to expect. TV worked, wi-fi was ok, fridge was cold."

We had an amazing stay here in Ocracoke. The team were super welcoming, the room was excellent, the restaurant opposite great food, near the beach, beach kit included, bikes and a lovely place. Strongly recommend!

The refuge Inn did what it said on the tin - provided refuge from stress. The hotel facilities were excellent with the pool a particular bonus. Breakfast was good and delivered to the room every morning and the staff were very good.

The Comfort Inn was in an ideal position for visiting the island. Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms perfectly adequate for our needs, and the breakfast just what we needed. My only gripe would be young children shouting and running down corridors knocking on doors on the ground floor near the pool just before midnight on the Saturday of our stay, but that says more about the parents than the hotel, which addressed this concern promptly when I reported it afterwards.

Ideal location on the beachfront. The beach is groomed early in the morning and is very well maintained.
Breakfast is included and provides a good selection of hot and cold food.
The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean with a great view of the beach.
The front desk staff were terrific and the manger was very kind and helpful.
