"Located in one of the best beaches and nearby restaurants. The property allows guests to have the most relaxing time with beach loungers on the beach. The best part is having dedicated refrigerators for guests to store food and drinks. Will definitely come back and stay here!"

Waterfront manta rays

"We stayed at the Princess Lokelani room. It was steps from the water. We saw a manta ray there and lots of fish. (Note that there is no actual beach as the whole island is enclosed by a coral reef). The hotel is very unique and has a stellar breakfast that they bring to your room. We loved the common area, it's very distinctive and comfortable. We borrowed canoes and found the manta and shark area ~10 mins away. There are boats and tours that travel from all over the island just to go there. The hotel is close to solid restaurants and has parking. Main drawback is mosquitos given the room is surround by greenery - come prepared."

"The small details were what gave this resort an extra star: flowers, cold gardenia scented compresses at check-in, necklaces at check-out. Great location, smaller property so everything was close, beautiful grounds and pool, great foodb& drinks. Choice of beach vs over water villas. We loved it!"

"We spent about a week at Fare Club. We were nicely welcomed. Louise and Francis are great host. In particular, Francis kindly helped us get a scooter, drove us to the location and back. He also gave us a wonderful tour of Magic Mountain (all for free, by the way!) and some other local things. Theyre both always smiling, and we spent a great amount of time chatting with them. The beach is good; on our one before last evening we saw 2 sharks right at the shore! You can also take the kayaks to go anywhere. As for the downsides, we wished that Louise would have been responded to our WhatsApp messages. At last, the breakfast was great, but too sweet for us (bread, jam, butter, and fruit salad): it would be even better if there was one salty dish. Maururu Louise, Francis!"

"I highly recommend this hotel. All of the staff were fantastic and are just wonderful. The cleaning lady’s husband is a fisherman. We bought a big tuna fish from him. They helped us prepare the tuna and cook it together. We shared the tuna with other hotel visitors. It was the best tuna :). There were also kayaks on-site that we can use. The room was super clean and organized. We will come back again. Thank you for a fantastic stay."

"We spent 5 nights at niu beach hotel, this property was nicely decorated, clean and new, the studio spaces are well thought out for 2. We found it very helpful having a kitchenette for when we couldn’t book in at some of the busier local restaurants, and a small supermarket just a bike ride away. The kayaks were fun, and it was nice to snorkel straight from the beach. We were told the area was known for turtles, but they were elusive for us. The staff were very helpful and kind. The local tours that we took would pick us up from the hotel. Speaking french will help you in Moorea, but is definitely not required. "
