"Communication with Rama the host was excellent and the directions were clear and helpful. The accommodations were complete and the bed was very, very comfortable. Everything worked well (fridge, stove, A/C) and having a charcoal bbq was a real treat. The bungalow is set amongst the trees and the grounds were filled with fruit trees (Rama supplied several of the local grapefruit and papaya that were in season). The Ta'hiamanu beach park (a real gem) is a 2 min drive. We can't say enough good things about our stay and we will come back."

"This was our 2nd time at this location-Everything was amazing - from the communications before the trip right through to meeting up and leaving. The house is spacious and well laid out. Bikes, kayaks and paddle boards all available for use. Having the dock to swim/snorkel from makes this place a favourite for us!"

"This is for sure a five star island and location. Forget about staying at one of those bungalows. Here, you have friendly dogs, a private beach, access to private snorkeling, a good size kitchen, a grill, a hammock, a private concierge (Alix), and if you want: a boat and car. We highly recommend getting a boat and car. The water here is spectacular and it was cool to boat to the place where snorkeling trips go to see the sharks and rays. The road noise is certainly a thing…but it’s the trade you get when you live amongst the locals and not in a large resort. The outdoor shower (and indoor) were lovely, our weather was perfect, and the furniture for relaxing was amazing. In some ways this place was a bit more rustic than I was used expecting….but it made it feel like a much more authentic and wonderful experience. What a gorgeous country!"

"Time standing still, no crowds, silent except for the sound of waves and wind in the trees. Away from nightlife, the hurried travel of vehicles taking people to and from work. Easily filled eyes with a spectrum of color backed by every shade of green. It was a refreshing peace not to be shared on Facebook."
