What a lovely hotel! The staff were very friendly and cheerful. The room we stayed in (31) had a four poster bed and very oldie worldie, which fitted in well with the hotel. The bathroom was very modern and clean. We only had breakfast there but what we had was very nice. It was a pleasure to spend there. Would definitely stay again

The perfect place to relax and unwind- the staff are excellent and special mention to Becky and Millie on reception- food superb and location is idyllic with views over rolling shire’s countryside. The luxury rooms are beautiful and worth paying the extra for.

We were given a good welcome. Although evening meals are not served, there were some good restaurants nearby ( food was delicious at Chiakos). Room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful even though one had been on duty for many hours with only a few hours sleep! Highly recommended.

The room was clean. The staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was good, loved that it was a buffet. Enjoyed the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. Area is nice and secluded, has an element of peace and quiet.

Stayed for 1 night and pleasantly suprised. Nice staff, nice rooms and nice spa. Bed in the room was just a double, felt quite small, but still very comfortable.
Impressed and great value for money, glad we booked Rushton Hall.

Lovely location with a pub servicing good pub for a few minutes walk away. Off road parking was more than sufficent and on arrival, Claire made us feel very welcome. We had the Castle Room which was very spacious and clean with everything we needed. The ambience of the property was that of a period, rustic farmhouse, beautifully decorated with many lovely flower arrangements.

From entrance to exit this has been one of my favourite places I have stayed in. Booked on short notice as I was travelling and started getting a bit tired driving so pulled over and looked for something local to where I was. Glad I did as it’s now on my list if I’m working in the midlands.
Check in was great by the owner and the lady working, quick and easy and shown to my room. The room was great, quirky and large and clean and was pleasantly surprised! Absolute value for money. Internet was...

travelling a lot means you invariably experience a wide variety of hotels. I have always preferred small hotels and Jasmine House takes some beating. Great service and a brilliant room added up to an extremely comfortable short stay. Sadly, couldn't stay for breakfast but I intend returning soon. Highly recommended.

What a lovely surprise! This is a beautiful hotel in every way. The rooms are astonishing with so many little details. The renovations are incredibly impressive. The staff were fabulous. And the breakfast lovely. A truly relaxing stay and a great find.

The best time to visit Theddingworth is during the late spring and summer months, from May to September, for the most pleasant weather and a full range of activities.
During this period, the days are longer and generally warmer, making it ideal for exploring the Leicestershire countryside and enjoying outdoor pursuits. You'll find local gardens at their peak, and many regional events and festivals are scheduled for these months. It's great for couples looking to enjoy scenic walks and peaceful village life without the chill of winter.
For those interested in historical sites and rural charm, June, July, and August offer the warmest temperatures, which are good for visiting nearby attractions like Stanford Hall or enjoying a leisurely afternoon tea in a village tearoom. Families will appreciate the opportunity for outdoor adventures and exploring the natural beauty of the area.
Autumn, particularly September and early October, can also be a lovely time to visit, with crisp air and the changing colours of the leaves.
