"We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. "We recently stayed for three days in this recently refurbished hotel. We stayed in Room 210. We found the room spacious and in a very good position overlooking the main thoroughfare in the shopping and restaurant area. It was during an exceptional heatwave and the air conditioning was superb in our room and throughout the hotel.It is an elegant hotel and quiet. We would particularly like to mention the staff at breakfast, at the bar and reception. In particular whilst we were there I also needed to carry out some work but needed a larger table in my room. Through the excellent and diligent attention on reception by Nijo Bastin the table and chair arrived very promptly. In fact, within minutes of my request. Also I needed some printing done and this again was dealt with extremely efficiently by Nijo and Sharon. Whilst we did not dine at the hotel we did have the breakfast each day and it was excellent. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay made even more pleasant by the staff. Needless to say, the Hotel is very centrally placed and is an extremely short distance from the main railway station. It was only a few minutes to walk along straight and level pavements to arrive at the hotel. The only thing we did not like was the TV. The remote was very temperamental making it very hit and miss in turning on the channels."
