"We were very impressed from the outset. Speedy check in, huge room with 6ft bed, big bathroom with bath and separate shower and nice towels. The pool and spa are a good size with very friendly, helpful staff. We slept well. There was a wide selection of food at the breakfast buffet but the most outstanding thing was the temperature of the food. I have never had such piping hot food at a breakfast buffet anywhere in the world! It was tasty, frequently replenished and supervised by staff. We even got fresh, hot croissants. Lovely. We would return as it was excellent value for money and a very comfortable, enjoyable stay. "

"Only stayed for an overnight. There was loud music from the bar next door until about 11:30 pm but after that finished it was really quiet. Rooms are bit dated. Loose shower / limescale build up on shower door. Bed was comfortable and had a good pillow. "

"Beautiful room with a balcony and reservoir view. Lovely to be able to sit outside with a cup of tea after a busy day at Rutland. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast choice excellent and good to have healthy options and oats milk but a pity the majority of hotels now have self serve tea/coffee via machines although appreciate it does save costs."

"Great place to stay right in the centre of Leicester. The rooms are updated, modern and very comfortable. Parking is available on site at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety of high quality food to choose from. Highly recommended."

"Rooms are so ridiculously outdated. Broken furniture and marks everywhere. Staff not interested and barely acknowledged us it was almost like we were not good enough to stay there. Didn't ask if we wanted dinner or breakfast or even if our stay was ok on checkout. Unfriendly staff at the bar. Main areas seemed fine did not use any facilities decided against giving them any further money after the way we were treated. Beautiful from the exterior but that's about it!"
