"This is not a Hotel, this is basically an AirB&B with escalated prices for a room with shared bathroom and shared also with owner. The owner was nice enough but we paid £97 for night (not worth it) compared to £65 at Ibis hotel in Liverpool (Albert Docks) - air conditioning, own bathroom and much more comfort. This ‘Hotels.com’ need to vet what people are offering. I am actually quite offended by what I was offered and will now use other sites to book ACTUAL hotels! "

"Room was really great for the price we paid! Location is great, and the grounds are beautiful with horses and sheep. The room itself is really lovely, with lots of extras including massive towels and lots of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, and a 24/7 area to top this up. The breakfast was really great too for a continental breakfast with loads of options. The staff were really friendly too and could not have been more welcoming. Overall we had a fantastic stay and will be returning! "

"Room was clean & comfortable, some cosmetic issues such as cupboard door broken, and tv not working if extraction fan was on. However communication was great, very clear and personal. The staff I met on arrival made sure I was ok. I would stay again. "

"Great place. Impressive design features throughout. Bedroom was basic looking, but all commodities were included - iron, ironing board, hair dryer, tea and coffee, kettle. Comfy bed + spare pillow. Staff were polite and helpful. There is scratched paint everywhere, but that's all I would mention as a negative. "

"Parking was easy. Comfortable walk to hooton train station. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Food is excellent especially Cajun wedges. Rooms are basic but ask the staff for fridge, hairdryer etc and they’ll provide. Place was quiet. They had a large function with over 100 people Saturday night and no impact to us. Beautiful gardens "
