"Check in attendant was quiet. The room was nice at first glance- you can tell there were some updates made. The furniture looks like it’s seen some things. Lots of dings and wear. There was a random phone and a cd player? Maybe for aesthetic purposes. Parking was fine. There was some charges that were not disclosed at check in. (an extra $165 ) which I find annoying and she made me dip my card twice saying it didn’t process and not disclosing the extra charge!!) The Thai restaurant across the street is 10/10!!!! Highlight of the stay."

"We had a wonderful stay. The service was consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with excellent blackout curtains and a cozy bed that made for great sleep. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including the daily replenished bottled water and the in-room clothes steamer. The rooftop pool was a highlight of the stay and a great place to relax. The location was also fantastic, making it easy to get to both Downtown Los Angeles and Santa Monica via Uber or Metro. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would happily stay here again."

"We booked this hotel last minute because we hadn't originally planned on staying in Los Angeles. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful both over the phone and when we arrived. Our room looked clean and had a good amount of space, so it didn't feel cramped or claustrophobic. We stayed on the street side and the noise didn't bother us at all. I really liked the water pressure in the shower, and having a microwave, mini fridge, and multiple outlets around the room was very convenient. I also liked the valet parking. Having someone there made me feel safer about leaving our car. There were times when we had to wait a little for the car if the valet wasn't already downstairs, including when we checked out, but it wasn't a big issue. The valet was super nice and even opened and closed the car doors for us. One thing to be careful with is the bathroom sink water because it gets hot very quickly. My aunt accidentally burned herself because she's used to the water at home taking a while to warm up. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and liked the hotel enough that we've already booked it again for another trip."
