"The room — actually a semi-suite with a huge, cathedral ceiling sitting area, huge windows, and a loft sleeping area reached by a spiral staircase — was breathtakingly luxurious and ideal for a romantic weekend. The location — a stone’s throw from Century City, nearby to shopping, restaurants, and nightlife — is among the best for an ideal LA experience. The rate on Expedia was excellent value. Our stay would have been absolutely perfect except for two items that were overlooked when preparing our room: 1) the shower curtain was missing and there was no drain stopper for us to take a bath instead. (We noticed it at a time we wanted our privacy rather than having someone come in to handle it.) 2) the refrigerator wasn’t cold and we were baffled trying to find the controls. To their credit, the front desk staff were suitably apologetic when we communicated these at checkout. One suggestion to hotel management. Several reviews have mentioned (negatively) the noise from Olympic Blvd. Hotel management is evidently aware of this, since rooms away from the main drag can be chosen for a higher rate. We weren’t bothered by the traffic sound, but the hotel might consider installing sound-dampening blackout curtains. They’d be expensive but worth it in guest satisfaction. "

"It’s a nice hotel. However there was a problem with the refrigerator making noise. I called staff at night but no one responded. I wasn’t able to sleep the first night but they fixed it the day afer. The tv remote didn’t work as well. "

"I couldn't stay at this place. The property is awful. Parking is unsecured in a sleezy area, the parking lot itself has is unsafe and you just may witness illegal activity and then they want you to sign a waiver stating that you're responsible for your vehicle; theft or loss. The rooms are dated, suspect odors and worn with thin walls. It condemable at best. If these are the kind of properties Expedia choose to represent, I think I'll stay away from Expedia!"
