"Great place to stay while on the road! Special shout-out for the free breakfast which was plentiful, neatly laid out and delicious. All staff we encountered were very friendly. Had to you the fridge because it was noisy but other than that the room was quiet. Bathroom was clean and lots of towels available."

"My main issue with this hotel was the poor sound insulation. The walls and doors let a lot of noise through, especially loud door slamming during the evening and night. I woke up several times because of the noise, which made my stay uncomfortable. I find this level of noise disturbance unacceptable for a hotel stay. Another issue was the flooring in the room. The floor was extremely cold, there were no carpets, and the hotel did not provide slippers or sandals. Most guests do not automatically plan to bring their own, especially since hotel rooms usually have carpets or basic indoor slippers for comfort."

"Room was great. Garden area was great. Check in and check out was very smooth. Our only issue was that our wifi in the room didn’t work at all."

"View of Lake Ontario from 3rd floor room. After walking to water's edge could see lighthouse in the distance. Next morning there was a gorgeous view of sunrise over Lake Ontario and birds fishing in water."

"Not what I was expecting. It is basically a room in someone’s basement. I could hear them walking above me and the water running from the pipes. Although the property was cute, the room was very clean and hearing the rooster in the morning was lovely. "

"Host is very accommodating, giving us a dozen eggs for our breakfast. Letting us use the ATV was a plus. All the beddings and linens are clean. The house is a bit old but all the washrooms are renovated. "
