Close to the 401, but right next to gas stations, restaurants, and a grocery store, it was convenient to get to. The room was clean and well set up. The pillows were very thin, but this was the only thing we noticed as less than ideal. It was quiet and we didn't notice any noise from outside the room. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay for a reasonable price. We will definitely be going back to stay again. Ceiling fan in bathroom is filthy and not working. A gaping hole in the bathroom wall filled with kleenex or toilettepaper. The taps were not secured and bolted or caulked. The shower tap is not installed correctly and doesn't turn off until you hit that perfect spot. The shower curtain is neglected and filthy and old. Simple care can fix these issues and yet got overlooked like black mold is nothing??? Have pictures to show. Pillows smelled a little musty. I am in Cobourg 3-4 times a year for work. My colleagues as well. Tried this place once and that will be it. Will absolutely not be back unless they clean and paint. Will not recommend to anyone. ![Black mold. Couldn't even turn it off, the remotes both didn't work. The walls in the bathroom had been kicked in and covered with cheap brown tape. Some of the electrical outlets didn't work. Nothing special and definitely dated. Could use a few more towels in the room. Water temp and pressure were awesome. Staff was pleasant. Bed firm and comfortable.
