"Rooms are in dire need of updating. Bathroom mold around shower and tub. Electric oulets barely hold devices plugged into them. Room door self closing mechanism not working. Door to balcony in our room was rusted and difficult to open anc close. Elevators and hallways are in need of repair and updating. Don't depend on the pictures of the hotel to depict what you are going to get because they are very misleading."

"The air worked but the room was dirty and roaches alive and dead. Breakfast was not very good and not much of it No restaurant, bar, pool and had to as for the room to be cleaned and fresh towels. The part of town was safe. "

"I regularly frequent this property I always look forward to coming down to the island and as it stands now and has been this way for years this is the only place I want to stay at Puente Vista has the perfect location and the views are priceless it is peaceful clean and quiet I enjoy seeing all the bird life and fishing off one of the many docks scattered throughout the property including behind your personal condo. These are very well maintained condos and the beach is just down the street a few blocks off the main drag. Everything in the unit is easy to operate tvs the kitchen perfect size everything modern comfortable furniture and beds a/c works great when needed"

"We received a 111 credit making our final payment very reasonable and the communication with the owners was very good. The price was the main reason i gave the unit 2 stars as opposed to 1. There were some issues with the unit. The efficiency unit was very crowded and the bathroom and closet were all one big room. The biggest drawback was a humidifier in the bathroom. There were signs instructing us to empty the humidifier every 4 hours and upon arrival I emptied the humidifier (spilling a little) and I turned the unit back on. Two hours later we came back from the beach and the humidifier had heated up the bathroom so much that it was working against the A/C unit. There was some water in it again, so I emptied it, but never used it again. The unit was very humid probably because the condo complex has an indoor swimming pool. The owners may want to rethink the humidifier and the layout of the unit. The fitness room was very hot and humid."

"Perfect location. We’ve stayed in this complex, different unit, many times, it is the perfect midway point between Corpus and the North Padre beaches… 10 minutes to the National Sea Shore… 15 minutes to Port Aransas. This unit was by far our favorite. Very clean, comfortable bed, stocked with every thing you could possibly need. Host responded in minutes to questions. Came down this trip to see our daughter and the Islanders win the Southland Conference Beach Volleyball Tournament. Will definitely be back next season if the unit is available. "
