"Second time we have stayed here and the first was so good, customer service, the place itself, everything was great. This go around was just okay. The didn’t have any extra pillows to help with the very uncomfortable sofa bed, just a heads up on that one. Bring an air mattress. The customer service was not great at all. Very lack luster and more of an annoyance to have someone walk in. The property could use just some tlc to keep up the quality. Overall we still had a blast, I just don’t know that I would now recommend this place like I felt and did the last time we stayed."

"Full disclosure--we started going to El Constante many years ago! We started going to other Texas Gulf Coast locations when our kids grew up, so we drifted away from this location. We ended up here because we changed our plans for a different location. This beachfront condo was absolutely perfect for our low-key vacation with our Chiweenie, Cookie. There is nothing better for me than being able to walk out the door and to the water! The condo was perfectly clean, the bed was comfy, and we loved the updated bathroom and new kitchen appliances. The pool was also beautifully maintained, and I really appreciate the on-site security. It is a safe location, but it is great to have that extra reassurance. As I mentioned, we are low-key during our beach trips. We want to chill, watch the waves (and the people), and play in the water. The IGA is nearby, so you can get some groceries and then never have to leave your condo if you don't want to, although there are plenty of good restaurants and the Padre Islander is a great place for souvenirs! It's a special place for us, and it lived up to my expectations. We will likely be back sooner rather than later! PS Pro tip: you get minimal towels, but you can swap them. I take my "hair" towel and extra wash cloths so that I never have to face humanity if I don't feel like it!"

"The only issue I had was the air conditioning. The property or owners need to invest in a new air conditioning system. The rooms never properly cooled down leaving the nights to be a bit warm for me. I don't think that the air conditioning was big enough for the unit. It worked, it was just too small of a unit or the building was not build with proper insulation to keep the cool air in. the aproximatey to the beach was great and the pool was nice for my boys. We enjoyed their birthday trip. I would stay at this property again but I wouldn't pay almost 400 a night."

"The condo was very clean and adorably decorated with a ocean theme. The parking was not an issue. We did use a little wagon to bring our supplies over to this location. It’s at a far corner of the building and not close to parking. The amenities were great and we didn’t need anything else. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. I wish we had more time to spend there. Great place."

"Great experience overall. Parking a little tricky. 2 spaces allowed even though the property sleeps 15 plus. Guests parking was available and we were lucky to start our stay at a less busy time of the week. And of course , I wish the mattresses were replaced more often.The place was very clean. A big plus."
