We really enjoyed our time at Bluffs Landing. The location and the room were very clean and hospitable. The staff was very kind and was able to give us some extra towels. The pool was very beautiful, but I can’t speak to how fun it was because it was too cold to swim The morning. Sunrise was absolutely incredible and we did not even need to leave our room. I would give six stars out of five.

Room was great and very clean. Excellent location being so close to the marina and fishing. A few outside chairs would be nice as well as an equipment washdown area for waders etc. 5 stars!!!!

Can you give a place negative stars? I would if I could. My first sign was when a form on their website wouldn’t load and I was told to text someone else. That person “Steven” was super rude when I told him about my issue. I blew it off and anxiously awaited my trip. I arrived to a dark room and the door unlocked. Was a bit nervous about that, cleared the room and checked to make sure the pin code worked. All was good. I received a text from Bluffs Landing (?) asking how “check in” went. Told them it was ok. Not sure which day but I asked about WiFi and it wasn’t the greatest. Couldn’t stay logged in. Thursday night (Thanksgiving), I was lying on the bed and at 923 pm someone was outside by my room talking and put in the PIN code to my room and it unlocked. Thankfully I engaged the extra bolt/safety lock on the inside. I yelled out to them and they were all “oh someone is in there.” I immediately text and emailed the hotel. To date, I have received NO RESPONSE. I also shoved the couch against the door just in case. I wound up going home a day early because I was so nervous about someone getting into my room. Additional notes, there was no microwave, no iron, and no blow dryer. I didn’t notice that on Expedia prior to booking. I would not have booked if I had seen that. So all in all, this is not a safe place for a single woman. I would not even recommend couples to stay there. Will NOT return.

Owner was very hospitable and friendly. He responded to our request promptly when we told him tv wasn’t working. We asked for an iron and he tried to find one for us. I liked the complimentary appetizer he offered to gursts.

Terrible experience with bluffs landing. Reserved 8/29-8/31/2025. On 08/30/25, went fishing early morning to late afternoon and came back to text messages stating I was supposed to check out and was sent videos of my belongings. They took our towels so we had nothing tondry oursleves to shower. Called and was then only told there was a glitch and the reservation was until 8/31/25. Asked for towels and never got any again. Shower head had barely any pressure and it was basically leaking more than pushing out water. The water from the faucet and shower smelled. Called and was told that something would be done about all of this in terms of a discount but never head back from anyone. Terrible terrible place to stay and as a fisherman that goes down there often, I will never recommend anyone stay here.

We had a very good stay. The only thing I have that was misleading was the water pictures. We could not do anything by the water. The dock was for another area not included with Lodge. Confusing to us we thought it was included for lodge use. We were down here for family visit.Swimming pool was awesome.

I loved how clean the room was, I was very pleased, and I normally don’t leave reviews but it was perfect for my two boys and husband. If you are traveling for fishing, it’s a perfect location because across the street there’s plenty of parking for boats and water view with the marina.

Nice place, some trouble…

Great room, great on site staff. The lock combo changed while we were out which was frustrating and then the phone number for help was for an out of country help center. Issue was resolved relatively quickly but we were out of our room and out of the loop communication wise for 20 min.

Place was perfect for what we needed. Property manager was available, friendly and very helpful. The best part is the location as it’s across from the marina where we kept our boat for a very reasonable fee. The two businesses are separate but pair quite nicely. Great experience and will return.
