The home is only 8 minutes to Highways 101 & 46 and is centrally located between San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, and Morro Bay. Whether you are coming to town for a wine country getaway or coastal adventure, our apartment is the perfect home away from home for couples, families, or friends on vacation. We invite you to book our place today! The furnished apartment is attached to the original home and is a completely private space with its own entrance. Whether you are looking for an adventurous or restful stay, the setting is clean, quiet and a great place to recharge. Our visitors often see deer and turkeys on the property. \-2 bedrooms with queen-sized beds, 2 Bathrooms with clawfoot tubs and a shower attachment in the tubs. \-Large common area with Smart HDTV with Netflix and additional sleeping areas (2 twin and 1 queen sleeper sofa). \-Bathrooms have luxurious clawfoot tubs in traditional Victorian Farmhouse style \-Fully stocked kitchenette \-Large outdoor space with sitting area and grill \-Beautiful wrap-around porch with multiple comfortable rocking chairs \-Onsite washer & dryer, free for you to use! \-Gorgeous countryside views Your space is completely private from the rest of the Victorian home and includes a separate keypad entrance. Many guests enjoy walking along our country road to unwind while viewing the countryside, vineyards, hills and wildlife. Things guests love about our listing: \- The apartment is comfortable and stylish, perfect for a restful stay \- The hilltop is picturesque with deer, turkeys, and birds abundant in the area \- The home features a wrap-around deck with rocking chairs, perfect to enjoy with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. \- A washer and dryer are available for guests who need to do laundry, at no cost Things guests should know about our listing prior to booking: \-While some guests may find the location to feel somewhat remote, the home is less than 10 minutes to several wineries and even less to the highways \-While the kitchenette has all essential amenities (plus some!), the cooktop has only one burner. \-There are two cats around the property but they have no access to your apartment. \-Two friendly Golden/Pyranese dogs adore guests of all ages and if you're willing, they would LOVE to meet you. They hang out with us but if you would like to meet them, we would be happy to introduce you to them. Be ready to fall in love with them! \-There is a standard-size staircase located between the two levels of the apartment. One bedroom is downstairs and the other is up the staircase. Nestled in the oaks and green hills you feel a sense of peace and calm. Adding to that was the quaint interior of the apartment with its cozy living area, claw foot tubs and angled ceilings. The beds were very comfortable. Though we don’t have small children anymore, the living area is open and spacious and offers plenty of room for children to play should they grow tired of running around the expansive lawn. We enjoyed our breakfast out on the wrap around porch and secretly hoped for more opportunities to talk with Charlie and Bailey, the resident Golden Retrievers. Jody was such a warm and down to earth host. Very sensitive to the needs of our ASD teen. We had our privacy but felt as if we could ask for anything. I would not trade this experience for a hotel stay no matter how convenient to our destination. This stay was a destination in itself. And though you may feel like you’re a million miles away from the bustle of civilization, it’s actually quite close to town and a short drive to Pismo Beach. The beds were comfortable, there was lots of room to relax and the small kitchen was very well stocked for breakfast! It felt like we were staying in a remote tree house. There’s deer and peacocks roaming the property as you drive up the hill. We explored around the woods nearby (all on the owners property) and it felt like we were camping, but with all the hotel type amenities (hot water, kitchen, TV). The mist rolls in early in the mornings and the scene is magical. It was exactly what we were hoping for; peaceful, relaxing, comfortable & away from town & traffic noise. The variety of birds, including owls, along with deer wandering around the property made our stay that much more enjoyable.Jody and Mark are absolutely wonderful...the consummate hosts! You could not ask for nicer people. They are warm & engaging. We enjoyed our conversations with them immensely. We were shown around the property upon our arrival & provided with freshly baked muffins & brownies. There was also fruit, bagels, and a few other staples in the well-stocked kitchen. No details were overlooked.
