Fraud - Stay away!

The Elliot Hotel is a fraud, stay away! The asked for my credit card at the check-in as a guarantee for my stay, and then charged the card despite the fact that I had already paid via the internet. I contacted them several times to ask for my money but they never returned the credit. In the end they stopped responding to my emails-calls. The room was dirty. There was a pair of dirty socks in the bathroom. The personnel was rude and made racistic comments. At the end of our stay I asked the receptionist to help me with booking a taxi. To my suprise, she gave me a telephone number and recommended that I make the booking on my own! We were supposed to get breakfast but nobody informed us where and when the breakfast is served.

Die Lage vom Hotel war wirklich gut und zentral. Die Zimmer waren etwas abgewohnt, doch es haben einfache Renovierungsarbeiten in den Fluren begonnen. Die Fotos stammen aus besseren Tagen. Eine Mitarbeiterin war bei der Ankunft sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit eine andere weniger. Diese hat uns auch erklärt, dass wir kein Frühstück (ausserhalb in einem Café) bekommen, obwohl es dazugebucht war. Die Schuld lag anscheinend aber nicht beim Hotel, sondern bei Expedia. Später sollten wir etwas gratis bekommen, da war es jedoch schon fast Mittag. Wenn jemand keine grosse Ansprüche und ein kleineres Budget hat, kann in dem Hotel gut übernachten.
