"Great little place in an amazingly old building. Staff were lovely, food was good (we only had breakfast) and set on a little creek ~ literally! Easy to walk to town centre by going left out of the building and down the walking path. Room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed!"

"Parking and entry with the door code was simple and convenient. The room was clean and well laid out and the fridge with bottled water and kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits was a nice addition. The double bed was comfortable but the single bed could do with a new mattress as you can feel the springs. The bathroom was clean with good amenities and the shower was superb. We only stayed one night but enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this lodge for comfort, cost and convenience to explore the area."
