"Personally we found the hotel to be modern, clean and friendly. Ideal for couples. The breakfast area/restaurant is located on the 12th floor giving a panoramic view. My only gripe was the two lifts, they were 4 person, meaning delays during busy periods."

I stayed at the Burrow for a total of 12 nights, and overall it was a very comfortable stay. A receptionist was on site upon my arrival at midday, and was ready to carry out all formalities even though I came unannounced, he was very friendly and welcoming. My room looked sizeable, neat, well decorated and with a medieval decor to it. There were plenty of places for personal belongings, it had a fully functioning AC and good lighting, and strong wifi. Beds excellent, as was room size, drinking water etc. restaurant food was not good value, (fresh fish is cooked better elsewhere), but rooftop sunsets and cocktails lovely. Just wish pool was open before 10.30 am- nice and warm water in April ., and open until 19.00.

I took my wife to Malta for her birthday, I found this beautiful boutique hotel by chance on Expedia...what a find!!!
The hotel is amazing, an old building restored to its former glory and more. Our garden view room was brilliant, so clean, good shower & the bed was very comfy. The balcony was a lovely extra touch. On arrival the staff had put a birthday card for my wife and a bottle of wine in our room...what a lovely gesture.

Hotel Phoenicia was a lucky choice for our first visit to Malta. Ideally positioned to walk into Valetta, and easy to get to everywhere by car. Bus station would have been possible too as just beside the hotel.
The Hotel oozed colonial charm especially The Club bar where the service was impeccable.
We chose the Pegasus restaurant for main meals and had the buffet breakfast in the main restaurant. No chance of starving. Preferred the more intimate setting of the Pegasus. The service was first...

A lovely 5* hotel close to all amenities but very quiet. The hotel is in St.George's bay and the beach is 5 mins from the hotel wih a small sandy beach and sunbeds. There are a number of restaurants and fast food outlets close to the hotel. A short bus ride away at Spinola Bay will offer you a further selection of lovely restaurants on the waters edge. Domus Zamittello is a splendid hotel formed out of an historic Maltese noble palace. It is perfectly situated in the heart of Valletta, with easy walking to most of the city, including the Cathedral, art galleries, museums, shops, buses, ferry,
The greatest attribute is the entire staff at this hotel because I found them to be always helpful, kind and cheerful.
I enjoyed every day of the 14 day holiday at such a marvellous hotel,

Courtyard rooms have minimal windows being an older building but not an issue, nice roof terrace with a small pool, good facilities at sister hotel too.
Good location with 5-10 minute walk to centre of Valletta and bars / restaurants.
Staff very helpful and attentive.
Breakfast fairly standard but all good.

Really lovely resort. Clean with huge rooms. Good breakfast buffet. Nice spa with sauna n jacuzzi. A bit out of way tho there is a shuttle service which is free. If you want to go out for a meal or buy stuff in a supermarket it’s a mission.
WiFi is super so I got lots of work done, as intended.

What a great property! Everything at this property was wonderful, right from our arrival to departure. Started with the helpful doorman to the custom welcome letter and chocolates. The rooms were clean and spacious. The room was quiet and had great sea and pool views. The food, especially breakfast buffet was superlative. Staff was super friendly, professional and helpful. They even threw in free late check-out. The decor and ambience was opulent. Thanks for a great stay.
