If you are used to staying in a newer, American hotel, this may be quite an adjustment for you. For a small boutique neighborhood, European Hotel it is quite charming. The owners are delightful and cannot do enough for you. That being said:MR Hotel, is not as bight and shining as her photos show. The hotel hasn’t had much upkeep to keep her looking like she used to. The beds are very very firm; to firm for my friends. And this is the other unfortunate part the bedding and the pillows smell like bleach. It was so strong it game me a headache. The bathroom was sorta clean unless you looked. Then you noticed that the shower curtain hasn’t been cleaned in a while. And the shower didn’t drain. They advertise AC ours did not work. There were other issues but I think you are getting the picture. There used to be a bar in the lobby and also the ability to get a coffee, that is not the case anymore. If you are looking for a coffee you have to walk blocks to the.local restaurant which was a find to get a coffee or a bite. We do love the family that loves the hotel. They could not be nicer or more Accommodating, but this might be a bit Much for them with a family. Thanks to their TLC, charm, warmth and care. The overall experience for us was a nice one, but if you are looking for the newer Americanized hotel. This is not your place.

Check-in was great. Nice owner and family. Helpful information. Hotel needs some work as a bit run down, but the friendly welcome was really good. About 1500m from town centre with taxis and bus easily available.

Very basic hotel 15 minutes from the main town and restaurants by car. Rooms were clean but tired and who leaves one coat hanger in the wardrobe. Check in was friendly however some confusion regarding my booking for three rooms which did get sorted eventually.

We were only there for a short night. We were able to find parking on the street. We arrived after 10pm, so I contacted the hotel and they waited for our arrival. Room was exactly as described. Check out was simple.

Very basic option. I was lucky to find a parking spot as I arrived, but the hotel was locked. Another couple of people were waiting at the door, not sure what would happen. After about 10 minutes waiting, the owner showed up and let us in. It's a worrying about of time to wait when you have no information and no idea if anyone will show up. When the owner leaves, he should leave a sign at the door advising time of return. Other than that, no issues.

Would not stay again.

The hotel is surrounded by a less confortable neighbourhood. Parking is not esay. The Bar at the Lobby is not operating any more. The TV tiny and did not work. Mattress quite old, you could feel the springs. Even for the money (paid about $70) there will be better options in this area. !
