"A lovely loaction and authentic experience. Many of the staff are an asset to the hotel. The plumbing and creaky floors leave something to be desired, particlarly the shower drainage and water pressure."

"Great views of the harbour from room 1. The room was small but adequate. The whole hotel is tired. Black mould around the shower base and tiles. Appeared to offer a good selection of gluten free for my wife, but after I ordered the scallops my wife's linguine pasta came with gluten, staff realised ..."

There is not a lot in Tarbert itself but if you do a bit of homework before you go there are lots of places to visit within a 30 min drive in Kintyre.
