Fantastic - no faults

Absolutely fantastic hotel. We had the most amazing view of the sea, which we could reach in just a few minutes. The cable car up to the town is also only a five minute walk. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby should you need anything. We had no issues at this hotel, and would definitely return and recommend.

The Mendolia Beach Hotel was the most pleasant hospitality my fiance and I had ever experienced. Located in the perfect area, ristorantes, cafes, piazzas and transportation are all within reach. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming and ready to assist their clients at any given moment. Never had my fiance and I encountered such a perfect mixture of qualities on our travels. We highly recommend this hotel, as it was truly the perfect place to stay, so much so that we will surely return. Thank you Mendolia Beach Hotel!

Staff was great! Nothing fancy here Hotel on a very busy, tight street with no parking or area to unload your luggage. Parking down the very busy street about 10min walk. Room was clean but shower extremely small, no ability to bend to shave. Pros is your across street from beach, lots of dinning options and markets, staff was great and 10min access to tram to go to common shopping area. Cons: No parking, no loading area for luggage on extremely busy street, small box shower.

The hotel is situated on the only road in and out of the beach area in Taormina. There was a lot of noise from the traffic (including motorcycles, buses and trucks!), so sitting on the balcony (overlooking the water) wasn't very relaxing - but the view (water view room) was spectacular. Our room had 4 single beds (for 3 of us), a desk, small fridge and a small closet. It was really cramped but fine for sleeping. The room and bathroom were clean. We didn't partake in the breakfast, nor the "private beach" (that is only accessible by a very busy, long, stone staircase leading from the road to the beach). The beach area was really crowded (and we visited late September!) and very small, but scenic. On the main road, there were plenty of little cafes, restaurants and mini-markets nearby, and the cable car into the old city of Taormina is just a 5-minute walk away. We enjoyed our time in Taormina, but if we return again we would try to find a hotel that is in a quieter area and not on a busy road.

Buena ubicación si quieres estar cerca de Isola. La vista está increíble!! Buena relación calidad-precio. La regadera está un poco chica pero fuera de eso todo bien.

Utsikten og området er bra. Hotellet ligger rett ved trappen ned til stranda. Dette er 3 stjerner hotell, så dette er veldig bra når det gjelder renhold, beliggenhet eller service. Veldig behagelig seng med balkong og utsikt mot isola bella. Masse restauranter og kiosker rett utenfor. Gondol til Taormina bare 5 min til fots og parkering mot betaling i nærheten om man ikke finner ledig plasser på gata.

Perfekt beliggenhet!

Hotellet ligger flott til, og utsikten og balkongen er fantastisk. Glad vi valgte å bo ved Isola Bella istedenfor oppe i Taormina disse varme sommerdagene. To minutter ned til stranden, og så bare 4 minutter til gondolen som tar deg opp til Taormina på 5 minutter. Vi følte vi fikk det beste ut av våre dager i Taormina ved å bo her. Strand på dagtid og kort vei opp til sjarmerende Taormina by. Eneste minuset er at rommene er litt lytt ut mot gangen og ut mot gata. Personalet var veldig fleksible og lette å forholde seg til ift. forsinket fly og sen innsjekk, og med hjelp til å ringe taxi o.l. På stranden er det en beach Club med samme navn som hotellet, men solsenger er ikke inkludert for hotellets gjester. Forståelig. Men solsengene er dyre (som er å forvente på en av øyas mest kjente strender) og et pluss hadde vært om det hvertfall var rabbaterte priser for hotellets gjester ☺️

Bien situé et bel hôtel

Très belle vue sur Isola Bella et bien agréable ! Je recommande le restaurant juste en face. L'hotel est situé à 5 min à pied du funiculaire afin de visiter Taormine. L'emplacement est tidéal et la chambre est suffisante. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et très bon, il y a de tout.

Buongiorno Ho terminato pernotto presso Mendolia Beach Hotel a Taormina Questa mattina al check out la titolare mi ha consegnato ricevuta pernotto a me intestata quando in fase di prenotazione con hotel avevo esplicitato nelle note di ricevere fattura intestata a alla azienda per cui lavoro. Alla mia richiesta di fattura la titolare si è irrigidita e si è giustificata dicendomi che non fosse possibile dato che non le erano stati inviati dati per fatturazione e nemmeno richiesta di fattura. Data l’impossibilità di modificare da ricevuta a fattura da parte della titolare (sono dubbioso in merito) nemmeno ha voluto modificare intestaZione della ricevuta da personale con i dati della azienda. Anzi si è pure risentita della mia “assurda” richiesta Sinceramente sono stupefatto che nel 2019 una titolare di struttura ricettiva possa trattare i clienti come sono stato trattato. A mai più...

Kjempebra beliggenhet rett ovenfor den idylliske stranden ved Isola Bella, og kun 100m fra taubanen opp til sentrum. Hjelpsomt og hyggelig personale, rene og fine rom (litt harde senger). Helt grei frokost på koselig balkong. Alt i alt helt topp, kommer gjerne tilbake:)
