The Space:

Inspired by the legendary writer, the decor blends tropical accents with vintage charm, including a striking faux greenery wall, a dedicated writer's desk with a vintage typewriter, and a stylish bar cart. It's an ideal retreat for couples, small groups, families, or remote workers seeking a unique and peaceful escape by Tampa Bay.



Comfortable Accommodations:

Sleeps 4 comfortably with a queen bed in the bedroom (12” luxury mattress) and a second queen canopy bed in the living area.

Enjoy entertainment on the 43” Roku Smart TV.

Premium linens, towels, and pillows ensure a restful night.

Breakfast trays are provided for in-bed coffee or cocktails.

The bathroom includes a shower with a bathtub.

Guest Access:

As our guest, you will have full access to the entire resort and its exceptional amenities, including the heated waterfront pool, hot tub, beachfront, and Outdoor Fitness Island.



Parking:

Free parking is included with your reservation. A pass will be provided at the security gate upon arrival.

Please note: Trailers, campers, boats, or jet skis are NOT permitted on the property.



Laundry Facilities:

A 24-hour coin-operated laundry facility with washers and dryers is conveniently located on the 3rd floor, next to the elevator.

The price per load is $2 (subject to change); quarters and cards are accepted for payment.



The Neighborhood:

Rocky Point is comprised mostly of condos and some hotels. It's generally tourists with a few restaurants including The Pelican and the resorts bar & grill. If guests would like to swim in the ocean, they can go to Whiskey Joes around the corner (15 minute walk or 2-3 minute drive) or Ben T. Davis beach just behind Whiskey Joes (18 minute walk, 2-3 minute drive).



Getting Around:

The resort has plenty to do! With that being said, if you'd like to explore downtown Tampa, FL or St. Petersburg, we'd recommend either bringing a car or using uber/lyft!

There is plenty to do in the area! This beautiful home is managed by Awaysis, a full service vacation rental company with 24/7 live guest support. Check-in / Check-out:

Standard check-in and check-out times are in place to allow our cleaning team to prepare every unit to our 5-star standard. Early check-in may be available upon request—just send us a message! A $50 fee may be applied if arrivals or departures interfere with cleaning.



⚠️ Damage Waiver: Every reservation includes our Damage Waiver Program — you’re covered for up to $500 in accidental damage during your stay. Just relax and enjoy your trip, knowing little mishaps are taken care of. (Note, this is not insurance and does not replace travel or liability insurance; this self-funded protection covers up to $500 in accidental damage to contents only; examples included linens, towels, and wine.



🐜 Pest Note: We treat regularly, but Florida may have occasional pests. No refunds are issued for pest sightings, though we’re always happy to address concerns.



⚠️ Please be aware that certain situations beyond our control may occur, including construction or noise outside the unit, temporary closure of amenities, utility or city repairs, or other issues on neighboring properties or units. As these circumstances are beyond our control, we are unable to provide refunds for any related inconveniences resulting from these factors.



🚼 Pack ’n Plays must be requested in advance and are subject to availability. As these items are shared across our units, we kindly ask that you request one, at the time of booking to confirm availability. Please note that not all listings include them, so we recommend checking the amenities list or reaching out to our team in advance for confirmation.



PLEASE NOTE:

🗑️Additional supplies may be available upon request but are not guaranteed. If you run out, nearby stores are easily accessible. Towels are provided for approximately the first 2–3 days of your stay—please use the in-unit washer and dryer if available to refresh them. If your unit does not include laundry, on-site facilities may be available (fees may apply). For stays of 5 nights or longer, you may request replacement towels, subject to availability.



Please note that not all listings include laundry, so we recommend checking the amenities or reaching out to our team in advance to confirm.



✓ ITEMS LEFT BEHIND. If a guest leaves personal items behind and requests their return, they are responsible for a $25 service fee plus packaging and shipping costs. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to left items once the guest has departed.
