Beautiful, large guest house in Takayama that is filled with light and plenty of room. A very easy, close 2-3 minute walk to the train station. Breakfast was good. It has a washer/dryer in the unit.

Everything about this stay was amazing! I only stayed one night but will definitely be back. This Macchiya was perfect and had everything you could possibly need. The location is about a three minute walk to both the train station and bus terminal. The staff were also super helpful and nice. I loved Takayama and will definitely stay here again when I come back!
