Breakfast is complimentary every day, and the staff are constantly clearing tables to keep the dining area clean and comfortable. If you are carrying luggage, they immediately step in to help without hesitation. Even a simple glance at any staff member is enough for them to ask if you need assistance. The room is cleaned daily, with fruit and snacks thoughtfully restocked every day. You can regularly see the cleaning crew throughout the hotel, which truly shows their attention to cleanliness and detail. My wife especially enjoyed both the public hot spring and the in-room hot spring. The shuttle service is always on time, making transportation easy and stress-free. I also heard that a new and improved online shuttle reservation system is in the works, which will make booking much easier for visitors who do not have phone service to call and make reservations. An outstanding stay with excellent service and care in every detail. The public onsen is very relaxing and serene, the facilities are clean and the room is comfortable and modern. We aimed at a relaxing one-night stay with hot spring. So, it was satisfactory to our plan. We had fantastic pre-fixed dinner courses with a few choices for salad, soup, and entree. The included breakfast was average except the porridge. The hotel is located about 3/4 mile from Beitou MRT station. There is a hotel shuttle service running every hour, but it's not impossible to walk if you don't mind the moderately steep slopes at the near end. Food not fit out stomach, a little salty, although the chef had creative ideas on it. Cake & bread are delicious. I can hear the words clearly in the hallway from the room. It's not soundproofed at all. And as soon as you open the door, you encounter a bed. It's below the level of deluxe rooms in a five-star hotel. The lights on the air controller disturb the sleep. Maybe it's because of hotel policy, but there was no amenities, such as toothbrush, at all. It was the most expensive of the three hotels I stayed in on this trip to Taiwan, but the facilities were the cheapest. Even considering the availability of hot springs, the hotel's facilities were way short for the price. But the staff are kind.
