Also big plus for bathroom privacy, as it had a proper door (instead of the glass ones majority of hotels in Taipei had). Note worthy that the soundproofing was fairly poor, and sounds like water running were pretty constant and loud throughout the night. Will need earplugs. Also the curtains were broken, so despite the room having windows (again unlike majority of hotels in Taipei) we could not enjoy the outside view. Bathroom was nice and clean, seemed fairly freshly renovated. Great trip from start to finish. Quick and easy check in, all of the staff were nice and friendly and spoke English. The room was super clean and the bed was big + comfy. I forgot to bring toiletries and thankfully the hotel provided some (toothbrush+toothpaste, soap, towels, house slippers, etc.) Front door is locked after hours and staff has to let you in which is nice for security but would suck if they aren't paying attention haha. I think you are suppose to use your room key to get in on your own but I didn't figure it out since they let me in once they saw me. Location was convient, close to bus stops so was very easy to go sightseeing.
