I was pleasantly surprised overall. Checking in and out was smooth and without issue. I booked a single room, which are located in the basement. Really no street noise and the room was clean and a/c worked great. Pleasantly surprised by the additional private bathrooms and single shower. You have access to the upstairs shared restrooms, as well, but this made it a lot easier. The view of the 3 beds in a single room (317) is very Taiwan, with hundreds scooters waiting at traffic light. This hostel has alot of amenities: roof top lounge, laundry room, water refill station, bidet on toilet and luggage storage. The service is excellent: front desk personnel from 8 am to 10 pm. Afterward it is entry by door card. There is also a self check in after 10pm. There are cameras on every floor.
