The staff were kind and helpful especially when we needed to switch rooms (due to availability for our dates) outside of normal business hours. The building is full of character and the decoration is cool without being over the top. Love that they have records and books to borrow. It is very relaxing. The staff were super friendly and informative. Didn't know before hand that the bathroom is a short outside balcony walk from the room so not ideal if you need to get up during the night. Also I assume due to the age of the property the walls are super thin and you can clearly hear other guests' conversations. Overall excellent though and we will be staying here again.
