Loved my 2 night stay, I was in Taiwan for three days. Other than the location being right next door to an adult shop and in front of an overpass I don’t have any complaints. Easy 10-15 min walk to local night market. The hostel is located in a building mixed with other business and what seems to be apartments? My only suggestion is a sign closer to the elevator indicating check in for hostel is on the 5th floor. Inside the hostel was very clean, well kept and maintained quiet hours.

Hotel is very clean with good breakfast. But no in room coffee if you like a cup of coffee in your room. Great wifi for remotely working. Hotel is located 15-20 minutes walk to RaoHe night market if you love street food, but not too many other options or good sit in restaurants around. It is also located at almost equally between two subway stations, so it takes 10-15 minutes walk to access, not the most convenient. There is an adult shop next door so be aware if you are traveling with young kids. I would say it is a good hotel for 2-3 days stay, but not any time longer. With the rate, there are other options in the city that I would prefer to stay for a whole week.

The breakfast was good every day. I liked that in the dorms everyone has their own locker. I didn’t like that my friend got bitten by some kind of bugs every night we were there; it was really bad and they refused to change her sheets! It seems like they hadn’t washed them and that was probably one reason she was being eaten alive. I also didn’t like that the restrooms are on one side of the building and the showers on the other, that’s just inconvenient.

Overall comfortable. Good breakfast. Just that it's not sound proof... If you get a noisy neighbour then that's very troublesome. But the staff helped to tell the neighbour to be quite at 3 am

Very nice stay
It has been a very nice stay with spacious setups in the shared room we had. The bed itself has an extra spacing area along with the locker space, is a very nice touch for us travellers that may need more than just a bed. The showers and toilets are clean. And the stay also included breakfast which is also very nice! The location is close to a night market, which is great for any midnight snacks.

Stayed here for a week and really liked it. The staff is nice, the room was clean and quiet with good ac and shower. The breakfast is excellent! Annoying music in the hallway that the staff kindly turned off during my stay. Recommended.

Room: Deluxe room Level 14 - Free breakfast for everyone - Room is like 5 stars (dont get deceived by the run down lifts and building cause interior is great!) - Near mrt station - Staff are very nice. They even brought us to our room when we booked in - Lots of TV channels to view - Great shower and bathtub - Great city view (able to see taipei 101) Overall: Best hostel/hotel I have stayed so far

The photos of the rooms do not do them justice. My room was super cute and had everything you could need. It's right next to the regular train station and there is a shopping mall 3 minutes away. Most of the city's attractions are a bit further but you can catch buses near by to anywhere you want to go.

it was surprisingly clean , breakfast was excellent for whom missing the taiwanese style breakfast to stay here. the lounge is very convenient for us to meet friends there. an extra star for the laundry room. I'll definitely come back here to stay next time i visitTaiwan.

Dear guest: Thank you for giving back the review. About safety reasons, you don't need to worry at all. Taipei is one of the safest cities in Asia. And we still have a building superintendent on the first floor, reception on 5th floor, both of them are 24 hours. Then we also have access control in the elevator. I hope it can let you feel more safety in NK hostel.

Where the hostel is located at is really convenient but quiet. The place is well design, the girl dorm room has a dressing room. You know the hostel is a success when they have Q-tip in the washroom. The staff is amazing friendly all the time.

感受度其實沒有比預期來得好 很不巧的和非常多大批的學生一起入住 其實真的真的很吵 到了晚上在房間裡面大家說話還是很大聲 印象最深刻的是 我把臟衣服拿去洗的時候 明明已經在洗衣機的白板上寫了床號和名字（白板的用途就是為了給下一位使用者知道這批是誰的衣物，以方便通知衣服已洗好不是嗎） 而且我也沒有洗很久.. 一小時還不到，當我要把衣服拿到烘乾機時 我的衣服竟然已經被其中一位學生扔出來! 我的內衣內褲都赤裸裸的被扔到一邊 重點我的洗衣袋在旁邊 也不至少幫我把我乾淨洗好的衣物放進袋子裡 我真的覺得這位同學很沒禮貌 如果希望可以有自己稍微安靜的空間 建議大家還是選擇訂私人套房 床位空間剛剛好 也很乾淨

So I picked this as the photo was misleading showing a single bed. However it was a all female dorm with 14 beds and they had even converted the changing and ironing room to a cubicle/bed!!! It was peak season post Christmas through new year. Even though I phoned within cancellations window to request for a free upgrade for 3 nights i was out in tour (as well as stated in writing); as well as to request a shuttle pick up. Nobody got back to me in writing. They were also not forthcoming about offering a change of sheets and towels with no charge even though u had booked to stay for 9 nights. Only when I had asked them A third time did they reply in writing that it was OK as i was staying more than 8 nights. Every little thing is chargeable. The toilet is past the reception and breakfast area so rather inconvenient to get to in the middle of the night.

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We've check email correspondence, We've reply to you more than 3 times in email and also on facebook messenger. We have already replied you not possible to keep a single dorm for 3 days while you were out of city, and also give you a free upgrade when you return. We have reserved the bed for you while you were gone, so you need to pay the supplement if you need the upgrade to private ensuite room. Our hostel don't give out any offer for granted. You've booked for an hostel, not a hotel. We've offer clean towels and bedsheet when you check-in for free, there definitely surcharge if you request for extra service. As for dorm rules have always hanged on the wall inside the room. Our receptionist is unable to mentioned all the rules to the guests, we have only emphasis the most important rules to be awarded. Please be understand that our reception is running for 24 hours, and we need to ensure everything is under controlled.

I would have rated NK 10 out of 5 if I could. Everything was much more beyond our expectations. My parents, my friend, her 6-year old girl, my 8-year old son and myself loved our stay and felt like home here. Their ideas and philosophy, considerate service, convenient facilities, and delicious breakfast are just perfect. They even arrange a temple trip for free on Sundays. I would highly recommend NK to everyone and will definitely come back next time when we travel to Taipei.

Arguably the best choice I could've made while in Taipei. I needed to find somewhere affordable to stay in a short space of time, and NK Hostel was perfect. At USD$70 for 4 nights, I honestly didn't think I was going to get as much as I did. My flight came in earlier than expected, and for NT$100, I was able to check in early and get some much needed sleep. I stayed in the cubes (the cheapest option). They may look small, but are pretty roomy and fit one person perfectly. There's also secure storage for your belongings while you're out, if security is your concern. The continental breakfast is hearty, filling, and DELICIOUS. Any issue I had, the staff was able to accommodate and we're consistently pleasnt throughout my stay. Also, there's great food within a short walking distance. All in all, if you're traveling on a budget NK Hostel is a GREAT option.

Front desk guys are friendly. Got upgraded to 4-bed room from the 14 one. Awesome! The place is neat, clean and the room is super comfort. Very lucky to stay at the hostel for the first time with such a great experience.

Small little home
Like our room. It is not big but has everything to make it feel like a home. Love the small pantry as well. We cook some noodles with the supplied cooker and pot.

Nice and cosy hotel
The room was clean and comfortable for our stay. It was spacious enough for us to re-arrange the items in our luggage on the last day. Would be better if toilet translucent glass window could be opaque instead for better privacy.
