This hotel is a bit run down and the hallway did not make a good first impression, but the triple room was very clean and free of odours (though the bathroom initially smelled like a public pool from the chlorine wash) and well serviced with spotless linens. Front desk staff were lovely. The local area is bustling with many small restaurants and shops. Looking for a cheap and clean place to stay? This ia a very good option. It’s an older hotel, but clean and quiet. Breakfast was nice. Room is spacious and clean. However, there are couple of inconveniences. All the lights and aircon in the room is controlled by a module next to the bed on one side which is unintuative and inconvenient, especially in the dark! The other thing is the lack of power points in the room. There is only a double points where the kettle is, that all! While all these are sort of workable, it is not very convenient nor easy to use.
