Staff had already delivered our luggage and put them in our room when we checked in. Check in at the Chengdu branch is through a machine, but very straight forward process. The room is clean and surprisingly soundproof for Ximending area. It is pretty close to Ximen station. I had a package delivered to the hotel, and they also delivered the package to our room while we were out during the day, which was great. Good water pressure for showering, AC worked well and overall a good stay. The hotel is in a good location. The hotel door/ entrance was not very well marked. It was strange to check in with a computer. The check-in area is in a small room with a touch screen (no people).
