Our room was on the 1st floor which was convenient and they provided a parking space for us which was extremely helpful and thoughtful. The manager is very kind and helpful with local knowledge. We ate the a nearby beef soup place and famous milkfish restaurant all within walking distance from The Brick! However, the room allocated to us (Room F) was much shabbier than those in the pictures. For example, the electrical socket was hanging off the wall, there was a spaghetti mess of cables on the wall around the TV, water seeped through the shower cubicle partition into the bedroom, the fridge was dirty and the room was generally dusty. But we realised later in our stay that other rooms were in much better condition — looks like we drew the short straw. For the benefit of future guests, please note that rooms are not automatically cleaned — you have to leave a note in reception before noon if you want your room serviced.
