"I've stayed here multiple times as a base for mountain biking. A couple of minor maintenance recommendations leading to the 4 star review on this trip. Bedding had a musty smell. I had to wash the sheets/pillow cases as the order was affecting my sleep. You should also wash the comforter cover and blankets, as the comforter cover had a strong musty smell. I would also recommend the carpets and couch be cleaned as I noticed the odor down stairs as well. As an ask, a larger downstairs T,.V. would be a plus. The kitchen plasticware and non-stick pans have seen better days risking PFAS and other contaminants in food. There was no advisory given on the construction taking place. All of the potable water inlet piping is starting to get replaced along with asphalt repairs. Reasonable date ranges of expected construction dates should be added to the VRBO listing. Otherwise, great stay as usual and I will return!"

"We had a wonderful stay with a group of 18—there was plenty of space for everyone, and the home easily accommodated us all. Just note that there are quite a few stairs, so expect a bit of up-and-down throughout your stay. There was no AC but plenty of fans in the bedrooms. The kitchen had the basics covered, though it’s a bit limited if you’re planning to do more involved cooking or baking (for example, no Instant Pot or measuring cups). It wasn’t an issue for us, but something to keep in mind when planning.Overall, the views were beautiful, the spa was fantastic, and we had a great time. We’d definitely recommend it for a large group getaway!"

"We had a very pleasant stay in Truckee at this cute cabin! Very pet friendly with comfy beds and plenty of space in common areas to hang out! We loved the privacy of the loft master bedroom, and the mattress was new and comfy. The cabin had a nice selection of games and activities and we appreciated the passes to the pool/sauna, although we didn't take as much advantage as we would like. It's definitely got the cozy nostalgic vibe of a childhood summer cabin and would be nice for families!"

"We had a great time staying at this property. The house was very comfortable, clean and lovely. We loved that everything was on one level, and the back access to the yard area was very convenient especially for our dogs. The host was very responsive in messages and very helpful. There is a trail right around the corner from the house. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend !"

"What can I say about this place that its previous stayers haven’t said yet?First and foremost if you have multiple kids 7 this is the place to stay.The kids made the bottom rec room their own hangout giving the adults room to kick back and relax upstairs.We all loved the hot tub, the different types of communal hangout spaces and the giant open back area to explore out in the wilderness.The kitchen was fully stocked which gave us an opportunity to have a family dinner of ten on their massive dining table. The management team running overall communication with us were very responsive through the VRBO chat app and very transparent with the rules making our stay without any hassle or worry at all.We will absolutely stay here again and with any luck to more snow when we return. "

"We had a lovely time. The cabin was clean and well stocked with anything you could need. A few nit picky points.The location - it is on the corner onf Northwoods Blyd, but you don't know the exact address until after the cancellation date. There was a lot of road noise and if I had a dog who didn't listen well or small children I may have been more concerned.Also, there are no blinds on 2 main front windows. It felt very exposing to the road. . Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed having our dog with us. We even had just enough snow to make a little sledding hill on the backyard. "
