Our holiday rental has a long and unique history. Built in the 1970s, the building served as a restaurant for many years and was a lively gathering place for guests and locals alike. Until the early 2000s, the building was characterised by social gatherings, events, and dining.
After its time as a restaurant, the building was initially used as a storage space and lay dormant for several years. But in March 2025, a new chapter began: With a great deal of personal effort, dedication, and skilled craftsmanship, we began extensive renovation work to transform the former rooms into a modern and cosy holiday rental.
Almost everything was renewed in the process: The old subfloor was removed, the entire floor structure was rebuilt, new windows were installed, and the layout was completely transformed by erecting new walls. Step by step, the former inn was transformed into a place of comfort—with the goal of preserving the character of the house while also providing modern comforts.
Today, our holiday rental combines history, craftsmanship, and fresh ideas—a piece of the past that is being carried into the future with great passion.

Its central location near the lake makes the apartment ideal for a relaxing holiday. The lake is just a few minutes away. The bus stop with on-demand bus service, a restaurant, and a village store are also just a few minutes’ walk away.
Since the holiday rental is in a quiet area, we ask our guests to be considerate and keep noise to a minimum during their stay. Parties or loud celebrations are not permitted.

We, the Mühlthaler family, are a family of four with two children and live in a neighbouring town.
With great attention to detail, a lot of time, and a great deal of our own effort, we have renovated and furnished this holiday rental step by step.
There are also two other apartments in the house; the separate annex was converted into this holiday rental.
