"We loved our stay at The Rockport House. It was within walking distance to town, though there is no staff on the premises, with one call or text, we had every question answered. Loved our room, loved the places to sit in the shade. We will definitely be back! One suggestion, have a water refilling station in the main house."

"There was a lot to like about The Cove, except for the check-in process which was unpleasant. I received one email saying there would be a second email with details for entry. The other emails I received were just offers to upgrade the room (?? Why?). So I figured it would work out when we arrived. However, upon arrival we found no human being available. I called twice and left messages, no call back. Then I sent an sns and finally got the entry code. I have the impression this facility is managed on a "remote" basis. But besides the nail-biter upon entry ("will we have to sleep in the car tonight?"), the room and bed were great!"

"The lobby and room were very comfortable and clean. The stuff members were very friendly and helpful. The hallways could use a vacuuming. It was very convenient to have the continental breakfast included, and there was a good variety too."

"I had an amazing stay here! The property is lovely and it was so peaceful to have coffee on the front porch in the morning. The room was so clean, spacious and peaceful - and the staff is so friendly and accommodating and super quick in responding to any requests. I can't wait to stay here again!"

"Lovely property with character and within walking distance to the shops and downtown area. I'm a taller guy so I'd make sure you pick a room that isn't the Mary Read. The shower was tight for me being over six foot but the room was great. Gentleman who you text for checking in/information was super helpful and very responsive. Would definitely stay there again."

"We really loved our stay at Chris's place! The house is extremely well-maintained and spacious for a couple with one or two kids (we only had our daughter with us, but there is plenty of room for more). It has every amenity you could possibly need, including great water pressure, which is essential when coming back from the beach, and super convenient parking. The balcony is a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee, and the rooftop is fantastic for soaking up the sun in private.You really can't ask for a better location. You are right in the center of everything, just a two-minute walk from local shops and restaurants. Despite being so central, the house is incredibly quiet, so you don't even realize you are in such a bustling area.The location is also just a few minutes from Front Beach. If you enjoy a good morning walk, you can easily head over to the Old Garden Beach neighborhood and stroll along the coastline. Overall, we will definitely be back to enjoy both the house and the town!"

"Great location. You can’t beat it if you plan to stroll the town. We enjoyed making coffee and taking an early morning stroll up bearskin neck and sit by the water. Parking is tricky but we lucked out. If you have to park up by Main Street you can use passport parking app you are able to update your meter from your phone. The place itself was adorable! Couch was comfy, great for quick nap between activities or watching a movie. Views of Motif 1 directly across the outdoor seating area. Very cool. Upstairs main was clean and cozy. Bed was comfortable. We found the town shop owners and its people some of the nicest we’ve come across in a while! Was refreshing how unapologetically nice everyone was. Highly recommend this rental."

"Property Clean and cozy. The kitchen is equipped with all flatware, dishes and cookware needed for the duration of your stay. All linens are provided. The apartment is across the marina, exactly as pictured. Our host, Gigi, was extremely helpful with suggestions and responds to all email requests quickly. The people of the area are very friendly. There are small shops, restaurants and various outdoor activities (kayaking, bike riding, lobster and whale watching outings). My husband and I highly recommend Rockport for a nice, easy going vacation. It is also a good midpoint location to visit Salem, Gloucester and other beach towns. We look forward to coming again."
