The location of the Inn is unmatched for access to Newbury Port’s many restaurants, historical homes and waterfront. The breakfast buffet was top notch and provides options for every reference. Will stay there again next time through my old stomping grounds

We have stayed at the Essex St. Inn 3 or 4 times. We love the quaintness, feels like you're staying in someone's home, not a uniform hotel room. Everything is so walkable, walk on the Trail by the water, they have swings & Adirondack chairs, restaurants & bars & shops are steps from the Hotel. Highly recommended!

Yes, for a free hotel breakfast it had very nice choices, from bagels, English muffins, muffins and toast to pre-prepared egg sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, cheese, fresh fruit and yoghurt and various cereals. Nearest restaurant breakfast is about $40 for two, so quite a savings.
