The accommodation consists of a windowed kitchen, equipped with oven and dining table, overlooking the terrace. The living room is furnished with a second dining table, a double sofa bed and a single bed located inside an alcove. The sleeping area includes a bedroom with a queen-size bed and television. Inside the apartment are two bathrooms with showers, one of which is ensuite and equipped with an opaque sliding glass door. Completing the layout is the two-level terrace, furnished with a dining table, deck chairs and parasol, ideal for outdoor dining. The outdoor space is accessible from both the kitchen and the living room, and is connected to the master bedroom by a staircase. Guests can enjoy amenities such as air conditioning in the living room and bedroom, independent heat pump heating, wi-fi connection and washing machine. \*The apartment is located on the third floor of a building without an elevator, and can be reached via a steep condominium staircase. \*The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parkings and enjoying the old town on foot. \*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy. The apartment is located near the temple of Apollo at the entrance of Ortigia, central location to reach all the attractions of Ortigia, primarily the market which is a 2-minute walk away. The area is full of clubs and restaurants, a market and various stores are also within walking distance. For lovers of relaxation and the sea, Eastern Sicily and the area surrounding Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best equipped and most beautiful beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the particular white color of the sand. Inside the island of Ortigia, moreover, you will find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach named Cala Rossa. Moving further south, about 30 km, we find beautiful unspoiled and impervious beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Wildlife Oasis and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, definitely see the Greek theater of Syracuse and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi Museum, and also the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural as well as scenic beauty. Not to be overlooked are Noto, the waterfront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. In short, Sicily is a land to explore and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures with which to fill one's eyes. Geschmäcker sind sicherlich unterschiedlich, aber für mich war die Wohnung nicht schön eingerichtet.Das Mobiliar ist veraltet, das Bad abgenutzt, auf die Couch mochte ich nicht setzen.Ebenso ist das Treppenhaus nicht schön, sondern schmutzig und veraltet.Die Dachterrasse ist hingegen richtig klasse mit einem fantastischen Blick über Ortigia. Die Terrasse war auch der Grund, warum ich die Wohnung gewählt habe.Ein Schlafzimmer mit Bad ist auch oben auf der Dachterrasse, also nicht direkt in der Wohnung.Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt in der Innenstadt und nah zum Markt. ##### Frank D.
