Always related to art, this house was the home of a famous Sicilian painter at the beginning of the last century, and it was later inhabited by a restorer and now owned by a theatre director. Casa Sophia is recommended for guests looking for an original, exclusive and chaos-free environment. It is bright and located in a quaint alley, it consists of a large bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and a classic small balcony overlooking the alley, a living room with a large and comfortable sofa bed, a bathroom and a kitchen with a dining area overlooking a courtyard. The flooring of the house dates back to the early 1900s. The terrace, perfect for lunches and dinners, is furnished with a table, chairs and an umbrella. With all its amenities, Casa Sophia can accommodate up to 4 persons. The famous Piazza Duomo is only 150 meters away. Its location allows guests to reach major sites with historical value within a few minutes of walking. The apartment was in a great location, down some back streets, but near shops and cafés. Ortigia was a great place to stay, packed with history and great places to eat.
