"We had a corner room with windows on 2 sides that looked out on sheep fields and striking cliffs. Gorgeous view! The room was well appointed and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, and very responsive to messages. We very much enjoyed this hotel and would recommend it. We ate at the hotel, for dinner and breakfast, so cannot speak to what other restaurants are nearby. For adventures on the glacier, this is a great location."

"Property was clean and newer construction , road in was fine in the rain with a 2W drive car. (Another guest suggested it might be an issue). Very peacefull location, attendent was quick to help with code box issues."

"Super clean and very comfy. The kitchen was very nice with everything you need for cooking. The only thing that was a bit confusing was the check in process, because the reception was in another location. It would be helpful if there were signs and they just emailed you the code to the key box with your key, and room number, rather than going offsite. Other than that, very much loved the cute cottage."

"Great location with beautiful views and a good breakfast. The receptionist explained everything in detail and made check-in easy. There are two dining options: one inside the hotel and another directly opposite it. Skaftafell Base Camp is nearby, and Jokulsarlon is only about a 45 minute drive away. The hotel is located in a very convenient location, making it an excellent base for exploring the area."

"Such a great space!! The sleeping loft could have used a curtain to help block out the sunlight but other than that it was a great space! Loved the waterfall behind the house and easy drive to the glacier lagoon."
