Overall, one of my worst nightmare when it comes t
My credit card was charged for the booking although I have selected paying cash at the hotel.
At the hotel, the hotel receptionist insisted that I should pay cash even though I showed her my credit card statement that the hotel has already charged me on my credit card. She said I would get the refund for the booking the next day on my credit card - and it never happened even after a week. At first, the hotel didn't even print a bill for my cash payment, but I insisted and they gave me a bill statement with very poor printing quality and I had no choice but to accept it. Now, I am trying to seek for a refund from the hotel, and despite many calls to the hotel, no one picked up the calls - so I gave up calling them.
By the way, the hotel is rated as 4 star on the hotels.com site, and I wondered how it could be rated as 4 stars when it was one of the worst hotel that I have come across - (1) the room has a stenched that indicated it hasn't been aired or used for quite sometimes (2) toilet, shower head and sink have many rusty parts, (3) the location is at an industry zone that is far from any tourist attractions and (4) the hotel staff are either unhelpful or ignorant and provided no help at all.
