"The room was clean, warm, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful and polite, although we couldn’t find anyone at the bar when we wanted to check in and we couldn’t find a bell. It is an old building and the stairs to our room were quite steep and narrow and quite a lot of them. They allowed us to park in the car park for the two days, although we were only staying the one night."

"What a fantastic stay! Tess and Jay were extremely welcoming and accommodating from the moment of booking - even calling to check if we wanted dinner. They were flexible with our early check-in and changing our dinner reservation too. The room was beautifully presented with everything we could need for our stay, including fresh milk for our morning drinks. The bed was very comfortable and everything was really clean. "A lovely cabin sets in rural Cornwall perfect for a getaway. We love the quiet atmosphere and waking up to the sound of sheep. Historic and sightseeing places are within a 30mn drive. We walked from the cabin to St Clether Holy Well (discovering other public pathway along the way). Be prepared to walk a little from the driveway where you park your car to the cabin (minding the ducks ☺️) There's no WiFi but it was fine by us: it's a nice way to unplug from it all and reconnect with nature."
