"Our room was 218, the BEST room in the hotel, overlooking the wooden bridge. Slept every night with doors open listening to the rush of the water. Staff were nice and helpful. Thun is a small town but very quaint and worth a short visit. No better hotel than Hotel Aare Thun. "

"The Kreuz Bern is a short, five minute walk from the SBB Station and two minutes from Bern's main street tram network. Our room was very clean, a good size, well-lit, andthe bedding was very comfortable. There is a connected restaurant which is open late and there is an authentic Italian restaurant right across the street (make reservations). Starbucks is less than one minute away. The Kreuz is a three minute walk from the main Old Town street in Bern and the Zythlogge. And lastly, for those travelers who need some clean clothing, there is a laundry room onsite for a VERY low fee!. We will stay here again without hesitation."

"Very nice accommodations. It is a little outside the city of Bern but friendly helpful staff. Clean modern hotel. Washer and dryers for a fee but good to have option to wash clothes. If you are traveling through Switzerland I recommend having a small fan in your luggage as most hotels don’t have air and a fan would come in handy in rooms. Loved the hotel and Bern!"
