We stayed here last week for four nights. Such a beautiful hotel in a really beautiful setting. The staff were wonderful, always happy and willing to speak English as our French isn't good!! The food is out of this world and I definitely recommend having at least one evening meal in their restaurant as it's a fantastic experience. Our stay at Le Clos St Jean was wonderful! Caroline and Laurent are friendly and warm, and they take good care of the property and their guests. I was blown away by the beauty of their place. The fresh, warm croissants, pastries, bread, yogurts, cheese, and fruit, along with the local juices and jams, made for a wonderful breakfast. I only wish we would have had more time to spend relaxing in their lovely space. If I find myself in Normandy again, I will definitely have to stay here another...

Absolute perfection. Every detail taken into consideration - a truly delightful experience.

The hotel was a chateau which had been completely refurbished about a year ago. Restaurant was great as was the breakfast. However the room we chose was a de lux garden view room but was far from being a garden view it looked over the court yard. The manager did offer to change our room the second night but as we were only there 2 nights I declined but he did treat us to cocktails so no complaints. We had a lovely stay. The owners were very nice and helpful and made an extra effort to provide me with gluten-free crepes at breakfast. The rest of the breakfast was also excellent. I would recommend it and will stay there again if I am in the area.

Beautiful building and luxury rooms. Staff very polite and helpful. Ideal spot to stay for Normandy Beaches and Museums. Only 3 miles from Arromanch & D Day Landings. We loved this hotel, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We will definitely return as it’s such an ideal spot for visiting the sites.

Long weekend break to visit Normandy beaches and some of the military cemeteries. Ideally placed, bags of character and not too expensive. Helped by the weather which for the end of October was fantastic.

Have stayed here before and enjoyed the ambience and quality of the rooms and hotel in general.

This was our second stay at the Churchill, and it was just as good as the first. Fabulous historic building, bedroom clean and cool (air conditioning!), friendly staff and a good breakfast.

Nice older property a few minutes walk from the cathedral, tapestry and a good selection of restaurants and bars. Be aware no air conditioning and you have to pay to park in the driveway.

This private hotel was perfect for our visit to view the D-Day beaches. The owners were very nice and treated us with excellent facilities, very clean and comfortable and excellent breakfast.

Wonderfully warm place. We were greeted late after a delay to our ferry by the owners with a lovely welcome (including from their gentle dog Hunter). Shown to our fantastic room, pass some amazing photos and artefacts from D-day. Our room was great. A superb blend between a brand new modern bathroom and chic traditional French.
