Very nice property. Our room was quite spacious. It is about a twenty minute, flat walk to the downtown Bayeux. We used this area as a good mid point to visit the D-Day Beaches, Honfleur , Mont St Michel etc.

The property’s setting is exceptional and please don’t miss out on having dinner at their restaurant. It is great value, delicious and very convenient. Their breakfast was very good and had lots of options. We had a deluxe room. The only reason way it wasn’t a 5 star is that the toilet is in a separate room from the show. The minor inconvenience made up for by being on the ground floor walk out and having lots of place in the room. We also liked the parking. Merci à tous!

The owner is very welcoming and the Chateau has an authentic feeling. The owner's mother is very warm and friendly. The history of the Chateau, which is also intriguing, should be written up and shared with guests as soon as they arrive. It was well located with the centre of Bayeux walking distance and many other beach towns a short drive away. It was a great place to stay.

Chateau de Bellefontaine is a beautiful old building on a large piece of property. The Chateau itself is quaint - rooms are good but could use a bit of a refresh. The breakfast area is bright with an amazing assortment of foods available to meet everyone’s needs. The staff are very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to ensure you stay is comfortable. The location is perfect - just outside of the main area but it is an easy walk into town. I would recommend it for sure!

This was the perfect hotel to stay at if you want to enjoy Bayeux and the regional sites like the D-Day beaches and Mont. St. Michel. The staff was lovely, room clean and the grounds were lovely. We spent one night sitting outside by the river that flows through the property. Highly recommend!!

The Chateau had large grounds some tidying up. Wonderful welcome by the receptionist. Disappointed to find mold at the top of the shower. Evening meal was very nice and breakfast was good.

Loved this charming chateaux. Beautiful big room, clean, and like a step back in time. Close to Bayeux cot center full of shops and restaurants and also the Normandy beaches/museums/cemetery. Highly recommend.

Very nice place to stay. Amazing duplex apartments and surroundings. They arranged a very good dinner in the evening, even though we arrived a bit late. Ok breakfast but we where missing som fruits, vegetables and whole grain bread. WiFi was unfortunately not that good. Needs to be improved.

Loved the old feeling and character of the building. We were a family of 4 and had lots of room. What would have been a small issues was the toilet kept running. The front desk sent someone up but they said we just needed to jiggle and flush multiple times. After their bogus answer I looked and there were two issues both looked to be caused from hard water. The float was sticking and so was the plug it was hanging up after flushing. If they would have said sorry we don’t have parts but will get some but to just give a response that there is no issue we just don’t know how to flush and we need to do it differently kinda wrecked it for us. Oh well
