Britannia Hotel Manchester

Britannia Hotel Manchester

8/10 Good
"Hotel still looks impressive and beautiful in parts, while looking behind the curtains will reveal how tired it is some places; my personal opinion as someone who has stayed there several times: if you can live with small flaws and don't need a modern decor in the rooms, the Britannia offers good value for money and the location is just perfect (very central); please also keep in mind that room prices are usually below those of other hotels in the area."

How many historically relevant hotels will I find in Stubbins?

Notable places to visit in the surrounding area include Trafford Centre and Old Trafford. You'll also find Bury Market and Heaton Park in the area.
What is a historic hotel like in Stubbins?
Guests who choose historic hotels have a chance to stay in a building that has been officially recognised with a historic designation. Historic hotels throughout the world have had many former lives and uses, such as castles, palaces, grand homes or even old police stations, pubs, lodges or skyscrapers — any building that's been identified as being of special interest. These types of hotels in Stubbins usually retain authentic elements such as period features or traditional architecture in their public spaces or guestrooms.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
The two are similar. The term "historic hotel" is more common in the U.S., while you'll often hear "heritage hotel" in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to put more importance on the building and architecture itself. A heritage hotel draws meaning mainly from the cultural value that the place has and how it shaped the community.
Do historic hotels in Stubbins have modern facilities?
Yes, efforts are made to preserve the historic aspects and traditions, but interiors include modern conveniences and safety features. Tourists who book a stay can expect the amenities you'd find in a hotel such as WiFi, heating and air conditioning, and updated bathroom facilities. Booking a historic hotel in Stubbins doesn't mean you're choosing a place that's uncomfortable for guests or simply rundown.
