"We stayed at Happy House in Roedean for a few days in mid-November. It was a terrific experience. The house is beautifully placed, about a mile and half away from Brighton Town centre. This gives the home a sense of apart-ness whilst being in easy reach of the town. The house is tastefully decorated and features everything that one would need for an excellent stay, including parking. It also benefits from unspoilt views of the sea."

"Absolutely amazing place to stay. Ten minutes from the front and town. Loads to do on the south coast. And the holiday let it’s self well what can I say but it’s perfect. Set on top of a hill with views for miles, quiet even though a working farm. Pigs and chickens to make you smile. Beautiful cottage with everything you may need, stunningly decorated and maintained! 10/10! Couldn’t recommend any higher. A MUST STAY!!!!"

"I found the St Pancras property while looking to stay near my parents. I’ve lived to Chichester previously and the property is in what I would call a “Goldilocks zone” - walking distance without the hassle of being inside the city walls. The property itself has serious history - combining an 1800's 2-up, 2-down with a very nice modern refurb and extension. It is light and airy inside, well appointed, very clean and spacious. Beyond the lovely very private garden, there is an off-street parking...

"This is a well equipped cottage which is in a rural position on the edge of the town, accessed by a short but unlit lane. It is a 15 minute walk into the High Street and there are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep."

"Outstanding property fully equipped and with lots of little goodies. It was our second stay at the property, and we’d come back any time. Just a hint: the chairs at the dining room need some review. This being said: Bosham is outstanding, and the Millstream Cottage is as well."

"Warm, cosy and peaceful. Everything we needed. There is a railway line by the property but it didn't spoil the peace. The spring dawn chorus was wondrous. Apparently nightingales sing here too, but is was too early for them. Plenty of places to eat in the area, and not far from the coast. Great place to stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay. Our grandson loved playing in the garden. It was a really safe enclosure with lots for him to do ( especially the trampoline) The house was within walking distance to East Preston beach which is a lovely little pebble beach that was never busy. There are plenty of amenities within walking distance in the village ( shops, cafes etc) The house is really nice and well equipped. Lots of room so we were never cramped or on top of each other Would highly recommend and...

"Though the property was what we wanted. Phoned agent on arrival, it was obvious the property had not been checked after cleaners. Rubbish left, dishwasher full contents gone mildew. TV kept switching itself off. Though these were dealt with once reported it was a task I felt I should not have had to deal with on arrival."

"Couldn’t ask for a better location. Smack in the middle of everything in town and only a 7-8 min walk from the station. Apartment was very clean and well presented. Iron and hairdryer included. The only real downside was the thin windows in the property that didn’t block a lot of the outside noise. Some of the rowdy pub goers (of which I was one!) could be very noisy in the early hours. If you’re a heavy sleeper, you’ll be fine, but light sleepers or couples that aren’t there for heavier...
