"Comfortable bed, good shower - except that the shower gel dispenser was obviously installed by a tall man - I struggled to use it. Convenient for the station and a good price."

"Booked the suite with my partner for three nights, turned out we had booked gran’s house, very dated, no tv in bedroom even though it’s shown in the pictures. When opening the window the plastic window surround fell off and there was no curtains on the window so people on the car park get full view. The lights flicker in the bathroom so if your epileptic you might want to swerve the bathroom. Stafff are slow, don’t expect to get a beer before 5pm as you will be waiting until 5, reception is no better. Then there is the cleanliness, house keeping washed the dirty mugs from our room in the bathroom sink then put them back out to use again. yes where the toilet is, last time I’ll ever come here, disgusting, bad house keeping, slow staff, if you can find one! Few staff around when the fire alarm went off but nobody telling us where to go or what was happening."

"I liked the hotel overall and thought the staff were all really nice! The swimming pool and steam room were good and bar was nice too! The reception areas also nice! My issue however was we were given a room that absolutely reeked of dog! As we’d been to races and then went to health club we didn’t really notice until 10pm and couldn’t be bothered to change! Seems there had been a doggie convention there a few days before and although sanitised and clean the room really smelled! I’d give the hotel another go but dont think they should put guests in rooms until smell has gone ! I’d ask to move next time ! Bed was super comfortable though and I think overall was good value stay"

"Fantastic hotel, very spacious room go myself, my husband and our two young children and one baby. Staff were fantastic and very accommodating. They were always smiling, I don’t think saw one member of staff without a smile in their face, and not a forced smile, a real hearty smile. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice. The only thing I would suggest is to have a few more dairy free options. Plenty of gluten free choices. We had dinner at the hotel one night. It was pricey but the food was delicious. The staff serving were extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. My baby had a dairy allergy and I am breastfeeding, so I am also dairy free. My baby also had other intolerances and I have allergies myself. The staff were very accommodating and checked with the chef for options for me. The only option I had was delicious - it is not their fault that I could only eat one thing in the menu as my baby and I just have quite a few allergies/intolerances between us. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and decorated to a high standard. Complimentary tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits, as well as a bottle of still water and one of sparkling water were available. Unfortunately we were unable to make use of the pool this time as we had plans for each day, but we look forward to staying at this hotel again in the future and to using the pool. I would highly recommend this hotel."
