"Excellent hotel with high-end accommodations. Very comfortable as the hotel has AC (unlike most of the hotels we stayed in in Norway.) The hotel is right on Karl Johan Gate, the main street and a pedestrian-only section of town with many stores and restaurants. Bus/tram stops are a 5 -10 min walk away and you can get to any part of town from here. Breakfast selection and quality of food was amazing! "

"Superb hotel, location and staff are highlights. Bed was a bit too soft for my taste, but maybe that is a regional preference. Breakfast was delightful and varied, summit bar has creative and delicious cocktails, knowledgeable mixologists. Staff was professional, courteous, and security minded, but also friendly, helpful and informative."

"The Clarion Hotel in Oslo was a perfect choice and met all of our expectations for a city hotel, and more. First location....right next to the main rail station so only a 5 to 10 minute walk after the express train from the airport. It's also very close to the main attractions, the harbour, swimming areas and shopping areas. All in all perfect. Second, the hotel. Excellent rooms, very clean and well presented. Lovely bathroom, very comfortable bed. The only thing I'd like is a bigger space to stash a suitcase, but that's very picky! Thirdly, breakfast. I rarely expect much from an inclusive buffer breakfast...but this was superb! Everything you could want - cooked breakfast (bacon, egg, sausage, etc), cold meat & cheese, pickles, breads, smoothies, herring, mackerel, fruit, pastries, coffee & tea - and really well presented. Plenty of seating (only busy on the one day we went down later, after 9:00am). Overall, this is a fantastic modern city hotel in a great location. Highly recommended! Mark"
