The best time to go to Stetten, Bavaria, Germany, is during the late spring (May-June) and early autumn (September-October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.

During late spring, the weather is mild, with temperatures typically ranging from 15°C to 20°C. The countryside is lush and green, and the flowers are in bloom, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking and exploring the scenic Bavarian landscapes. This period is also before the peak summer tourist season, so you can enjoy popular attractions with more ease.

Early autumn offers similar comfortable temperatures, usually between 10°C and 18°C, and the changing colours of the leaves create a picturesque backdrop. This is a fantastic time for those who enjoy walking through nature or visiting local vineyards and sampling regional produce without the hustle and bustle of summer. Many local festivals celebrating the harvest also take place during this season.

While summer (July-August) can be warm and sunny, with temperatures often reaching 25°C or higher, it is also the busiest time for tourism, meaning more people at popular sites and potentially higher prices for accommodation.
